How this works for cats
Spring steel makes the cardboard ends bounce with tiny, irregular changes that are difficult to reproduce deliberately. A light touch is enough; the wire creates the uncertainty. Guide it along the floor and allow frequent catches. The Cat Dancer’s entire design is nearly nothing, which is why the movement remains the point.
