How this works for cats
A hood can contain scatter and provide visual privacy, but enclosed boxes are a genuine preference, not an automatic upgrade. The swinging door adds another decision for the cat, so leave it off at first if necessary. Keep the tray clean and watch whether the cat enters without hesitation.
