From the manufacturer
The Pidan Expandable Pet Hut Backpack is a two-in-one carrier that converts from a compact backpack into a full 59 cm travel habitat at your destination. It's ideal for cats who need more room to stretch out on longer trips, without requiring a separate crate.
Large-area mesh panels on the top and sides keep air moving continuously, while roll-down privacy curtains let you switch between open sightseeing and a calm, darkened retreat for anxious cats. A foldable litter pan is included and fits directly inside the expanded section, and a built-in dust-proof base cover pulls out to protect the bottom on any surface.
Packed dimensions: 38 x 28.5 x 40.5 cm (15" x 11.2" x 15.9")
Expanded dimensions: 38 x 59 x 38 cm (15" x 23.2" x 15")
Weight capacity: Up to 7.5 kg (approx. 16 lbs)
Materials: Oxford fabric, ABS plastic panels, heavy-duty nylon mesh
Includes: Foldable travel litter pan, dust-proof base cover
How this works for cats
The backpack opens into a 59-centimetre habitat with a small litter pan, giving a cat room to settle after arrival without carrying a second crate. Mesh and roll-down curtains let you adjust exposure. Practise every transformation at home, and stay within the 7.5-kilogram limit without ignoring the cat’s length.
