From the manufacturer
The Odyssey by Travel Cat is a soft carrier for vet visits, everyday outings and travel. Mesh side panels provide ventilation, while the roll-down window shade lets you give your cat a little more privacy when needed.
The slide-out fleece mat can be removed for machine washing. Zipper safety clips and an interior tether add practical details for travel; attach the tether to a harness, not a collar. Two side pockets hold small essentials, and you can carry the bag by its top handle or shoulder strap. A luggage sleeve slips over a suitcase handle.
Dimensions: 17 × 11 × 9 in (43 × 28 × 23 cm)
Carrier weight: 3.5–4.5 lb (approximately 1.68–2 kg)
Cat weight capacity: Up to 20 lb (9 kg)
Included: Slide-out, machine-washable fleece mat
For air travel, check your airline’s current carrier size and pet requirements before booking; under-seat space can vary by aircraft.
How this works for cats
The slide-out mat gives your cat a surface you can introduce at home before it goes into the carrier. The roll-down shade offers a choice of view or more privacy during a trip. Let your cat investigate the carrier while it is open and stationary, so the first meeting does not have to happen at departure time.
